What is required from this role?
- Foster strong and nurturing relationships with toddlers, supporting their emotional well-being and development.
- Plan and implement exciting activities that inspire learning and encourage exploration, in line with the EYFS framework.
- Monitor, assess, and document children’s progress, tailoring support to meet their individual needs.
- Work closely with parents/carers to provide updates and share developmental milestones.
- Promote independence and positive behaviour while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming, stimulating, and well-resourced room.
Who we are looking for?
- Qualified: Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Experienced: Has a track record of working with toddlers and understands their developmental milestones and needs.
- Passionate: Enthusiastic about nurturing children’s growth and learning.
- Creative: Able to plan engaging activities that support all areas of development.
- Supportive: A team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
